Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion (MIC): What is it and how do you prevent in your building?

Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion (MIC) is a condition created in fire sprinkler systems by the introduction of steel eating microbes into the sprinkler system piping. MIC can occur in any piping system.  Regardless of your piping system we recommend you test your fire protection system and follow the steps to prevent MIC in your facility.
