Construction Management Engineer(s)-Branchburg, NJ

Holder Construction Company is an ENR Top 30 Construction industry leader with operations throughout the United States.  We are currently seeking highly motivated construction professionals to join our company in Preconstruction and Project Engineer positions both in our office and on commercial construction project sites in the Branchburg, NJ area.

As  a Project Engineer on a project, initial responsibilities would include on site trade coordination and management, coordination of material design, fabrication, delivery and installation, ongoing interaction with field supervision, management of cost and design issues (change orders, RFI’s, document updates, etc.) and other responsibilities focused on overall project management and success.

The responsibilities of a Preconstruction Engineer would include the ability to read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications, ability to perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work, overall trade management and coordination, and some level of exposure to BIM.

Requirements for these positions include a BS in Construction Management or related construction degree with up to 4 years of commercial construction experience.  Successful candidate will also possess outstanding communication and time management skills, computer skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Skills in communication with problem solving are critical for this position.

Holder Construction Company is seeking a highly motivated accounting - administrative/accounting professional to join our project team located in Charlotte, NC. Qualified candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to our project management team.

Requirements for this position include 2-4 years administrative experience, A/P, A/R and some payroll experience.  Successful candidates will also possess outstanding communication, time management and computer skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.  Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus.

  • Setting up and breaking down meeting rooms for food service
  • Sending, receiving, and distribution of deliveries
  • Ordering Office Supplies
  • Booking Travel
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Processing Payroll for Hourly Staff
  • Processing Expense Reports
  • Insurance/Billing/Accounts Payable and Subcontractor Billing for ongoing Interior Construction Jobs
