The Progressive Insurance Data Center & PPA Facility is a 195,000 square foot complex comprised of three buildings including a data center, powerhouse and post processing automation facility. The project is a Tier IV, fault tolerant and concurrently maintainable data center. The Day One equipment includes four (4) 750 ton chillers with accompanying cooling towers; thirty-four (34) 20 ton CRAC units; two (2) 12,000 gallon fuel tanks and a 212,000 gallon water storage tank that serves as both a domestic and fire water supply backup. On the electrical side the Day One equipment includes three (3) 2,500 KW generators; four (4) 800 kva UPS modules; ten (10) 300 kva PDUs and twenty-three (23) Remote Power Panels (RPPs). The ultimate buildout of this facility will approximately double these equipment counts.
