Our Philosophy
Our approach is to build responsibly. We challenge ourselves daily to reduce the negative environmental impact from our business and construction operations. We have a dedicated Sustainable Services Department to support our projects and Corporate Responsibility efforts. These associates provide creative sustainable ideas and research during preconstruction and management support during construction. At Holder, it is every associate's responsibility to implement sustainable practices.
We require a LEED Accreditation for all of our Preconstruction and Project Managers. 100% of our Preconstruction Leadership team is LEED Accredited and 77% of all our on-site engineers and managers are LEED Accredited. This means that our clients work with associates who understand how to build to sustainable standards and how to manage the LEED process.

Our Project Experience
- Holder is the most experienced LEED Data Center builder in the Country. We built the first LEED Certified Data Center, the first LEED Silver, and the first LEED Gold data centers. We currently have 12 LEED Registered data centers.
- Holder built the first LEED-CI Platinum Certified project.
- Currently 55% of our projects are registered under either the LEED or Green Globes Green Building Rating Systems.
- In 2009, Holder diverted 85.29% of all our Company-wide construction waste from landfills.
